BRIEF
HISTORY AND INTRODUCTION
The
South Medical Unit is headed by Professor Javed Akram. This unit
has monitoring facilities for cardiac patients as well as non invasive
diagnostic facilities in the form of ultrasound examination. Professor
Javed Akram with his team is enthusiastically training under and
postgraduate students. He is also responsible for the training of
Family Physicians according to the requirements of the College of
Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. This unit also runs a rheumatology
clinic supervised by an associate professor. Also they are engaged
in clinical teachings of BDS and Physiotherapy classes.
