SOUTH SURGICAL WARD

INTRODUCTION

The South Surgical Ward ( Surgical Unit IV) is 4th unit headed by Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal FCPS; FICS. The unit also has a team of doctors comprising of an Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and five senior Registrars and a team of fourteen post graduate residents.


The unit comprises of Male and Female wards having the capacity of accommodating about 25 patients each, both trauma and elective cases. The ward also has an 7 bedded HDU with all modern facilities.

The Unit trains postgraduate trainees for various postgraduate programs and is fully accredited for FCPS, MCPS and MS. There are 15 pre-registertion graduates in their foundation years.

The unit carries out regular workshops, seminars and lectures by experts.
